It is really amazing how fast a year can end, and how fast every day goes by. Just yesterday I have purchased my first DSLR, only a few year ago, that I emerged into photography and started learning every bit that I could out of it. A few months ago I made this portfolio page hoping to showcase my projects and to be an inspiration to everyone landing on it. Only a few weeks ago, that I started a new journey. A journey that (for now) had me really under pressure to produce new images every day. And now I am here, writing a blog post, on 2017. A year has passed and the fact that I made it this far proves to me one thing, that I made progress (not as much as I wanted to, but that will never be the case - always be your own worst critic!)
Now, I am formally letting go of 2016 and looking forward for a new year, full of opportunities, progress and dedication. Ten days have already passed of my hrd365 days challenge, and I can say that this won't be so easy as I thought. I often found myself wondering what was the meaning behind starting this challenge in the first place, but then I reminded myself about the pozitive thing it can bring to my creative workflow, to my memory recollection and overall to myself as a person. So, I kept on going.
Recently I came across an interview about me made by Ernesto Hernandez, from DeviantArt. Sadly the blog in which he published on is down, and I was only able to find the text of the interview. I think he left this awesome project of making interviews of artist that inspired him. I was lucky enough to be one of them, and for this I am grateful.
So, I thought that before the blog would be deactivated I could honor his work, by posting it here, on mine ;) Hope you find this interview uplifting as I did when I came to answer his questions. Remember that this was made 3 years ago! :D
Recently, I was lucky enough to travel again across Europe, to Ireland and back. I visited 5 counties in total, had two weeks of fun and laughter, met extraordinary people, saw amazing sites, landscapes and scenery and ultimately I had a blast!
